Hector Cardoza III
Hector Cardoza III, is the lead team member and Co-Founder of Altus Real Estate Group, LLC. He distinguishes himself through his professionalism, availability, and inviting character. Hector’s passion in life is to help people in any way he can. He has had the privilege of gaining friendships with those he once referred to as “clients.” His customer service skills and background in Accounting, make him the perfect combination to be the Broker of your choice.
Hector graduated in 2014 from The University of Texas at Brownsville with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. After completing his studies, he worked as an Enrollment Specialist at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Even though he enjoyed helping people in the University, his hope was to one day make the switch to pursue Real Estate. In 2016, Hector made the decision to make Real Estate his full time profession, and has not looked back. Since then, he has worked with RGV residents, relocating clients, local small businesses, foreign investors, first time investors and a national non-profit. His years of experience have exposed him to multiple scenarios. Hector knows that no real estate transaction is ever alike and he is ready to fulfill all your real estate needs.
Hector is an advocate and supporter of his hometown, Brownsville, and the RGV. Since 2013, he started volunteering in a local non-profit, United Way of Southern Cameron County (UWSCC) in their Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Hector has been IRS certified to file taxes for free for families and individuals who make less than $54,000. In 2016, Hector received the Volunteer of the Year Award from UWSCC. Hector also remains engaged in his community by being Board President of the Brownsville Officials Soccer Association. Additionally, Hector is a member of the Education Committee for the Brownsville Board of Realtors. The Committee’s purpose is to bring relevant programs and courses to REALTOR’s to complete their continuing education requirements and to elevate their competencies.
